It can be hard to drag yourself away from the house and its lovely grounds and views. You can just stay by the pool and abandon yourself to the complete peace and beauty. However, if you want to explore, there is lots to do.

Cessenon is just a 5 minute short drive along a local road or a back track which is also great for a lovely walk (15-20 minutes) or hire bikes and arrive in minutes! It is a lovely small village where you can sit with a drink outside one of the bars under the shady plane trees and watch the goings on in the central square. Here you can find a wonderful butchers with delicatessan, a couple of good restaurants, a small grocery store, a pharmacy, a small supermarket and 24 hour petrol garage. It also has hair dressers, dry cleaners, a newsagent, an internet café and a Saturday market.
